Water Lillies

Prayers

Our family received some devastating news yesterday. Kyle’s mom was diagnosed with AML (acute myelogenous leukemia), which developed from a previously undiagnosed MDS (myelodysplastic syndrome). She will be treated at the Cleveland Clinic, and she must start aggressive, constant, 24 hour chemo on Monday. She will stay there for 3-6 weeks. Please keep her in [...]

My little artist

Kade had his first art class today. It was for 20-36 month olds, and he did pretty well. He was the only child who cried, but hey it’s Kade and he likes to draw attention to himself. He made a 2-year old version of Monet’s Waterlilies that turned out great. I’ll post a picture tomorrow [...]

I Didn’t Get the Memo

Excuse me, but I never received the memo stating that today every parent in the entire city of Cleveland would be going to the zoo. Nobody told me, but if they had I definitely would have stayed home. We woke up to a beautiful, warm, sunny day so Kade and I decided to forgo the [...]

Commentary

After viewing the last post I realized there were a few things I needed to clear up: 1. Yes, my belly is growing, even though it may not appear obvious. It’s not growing in the round sense, but in the pointy sense. It’s like a little arrow saying, “Yes, she’s pregnant!” 2. Yes, I do [...]
