We had our ultrasound yesterday and found out that our little bean is actually a baby girl. I am still in shock. I was certain that it was a boy, but I am beyond happy. Kyle and I had decided that no matter what this was going to be our last child. Two children just seems more manageable, and let’s face it – I need to go back to work at some point. Having a boy and now a girl makes that decision feel right. I grew up with a sister (that I love very much) but I always wondered what having a brother would be like. Now I’ll get to witness that bond through my children. I am so excited about what the future holds, and I am also scared as hell. My love for Kade is indescribable, and after seeing my baby girl sucking her thumb, rolling around, and waving hello that love has just spilled over. Now I prepare for the adjustment of going from a family of three to four. I only hope this mama can handle it.
