Sorry that I haven’t posted in awhile. As you can see, Kade’s birthday party was a huge success. He was so happy to have his cousins play with all of his toys. And we all know how much he loves to be the center of attention.

I just can’t believe how much work a child’s party is. Now I know why parents go for the easy pizza party option, preferably at a place like Chuck E’Cheese (where they clean up). My overly ambitious undertaking of the Big Red Car cake actually turned out great, but I have a whole newfound respect for cake makers. And I totally understand why our wedding cake was almost $400 (in fact, I feel like I should send her an additional tip).

Anyways, a lot has happened since Kade’s big birthday, but I’ll put it in the next post.
