The Plain Dealer has readers write in every week for Thankful Thursday, so I figured I’d start one of my own. There are some family issues going on right now so I thought it would be a good time to take a look around at what I’m truly thankful for. And I feel like I bitch an awful lot on here, so I’d better stop and smell the roses once in awhile.
I am thankful for my husband, who kisses me goodnight every night and tells me he loves me every morning.
I am thankful for my son, who grabs my cheeks just to hold my head still so he can lay a big, wet kiss right on my lips.
I am thankful for my unborn child, whose tiny movements remind me everyday just how precious life is.
I am thankful for my family. The family I was born into, who have always encouraged me through their unconditional love, and the family I have married into, who have always made me feel like I belong by giving me their unconditional love.
I am thankful for my health, and the health of my babies.
I am thankful for life, and that it cannot be taken for granted.
What are you thankful for?

Awwwe.
I am very thankful too – for the laundry, dinner and shopping ferries, for my mama’s boy and my future daddy’s girl, for a career that I enjoy, for all the support from family and friends.
Now let’s see what we have to say for “Monday Moaning”.
