In Erika’s absence, I will step in for this edition of Thankful Thursday.
I am thankful that the Dr.’s caught the high glucose level before we left for Punta Cana, who knows what would have happened if they hadn’t.
I am thankful for my mother getting out of the hospital and being able to go home and rest before her next battle, the bone marrow transplant.
I am thankful for my mother-in-law, without her I do not know how I would manage Kade and work this week as Erika was in the hospital.
I am thankful for the great people I work with. They are always concerned for my family and allow me the personal time to take care of what matters most.
I am thankful for my beautiful wife. I do realize how much she does, but having to step it up while she is gone really makes it evident. Not that her mother doesn’t do a good job, but wow, Erika really does a lot around here.
And thank you for all of the thoughts and prayers from family and friends.
