I haven’t done a Thankful Thursday post in a few weeks, so here it goes.

I am thankful that today is Thursday, since that means tomorrow is Friday - yeah!!!

I am thankful to have my mom in my life. She came to take care of Kade when I was in the hospital and even cleaned my house. She did all of this and watched Kade the entire week we were in Punta Cana and she said she loved every minute of it. The thing is - I really believe she did love it, and that is what I’m most thankful for - that my son has such a loving, giving grandmother who would do anything and everything for him.

I am thankful for the Diabetic Mommy website that gives me some great ideas for curbing my sugar cravings because a 7 (almost 8) month pregnant woman really needs her chocolate once in awhile.

I am thankful that we have medical insurance because although we still have to pay over $500 we could have had to pay the entire $10,000 medical bill from my 5 day hospital stay. I would be even more thankful if our government would get it’s act together and provide socialized healthcare, but that is a whole post in itself.

I am thankful for my husband Kyle, who I have been married to for 5 years as of June 16th. I love him as much now, if not more than when we started dating over 9 years ago. I am truly blessed to have found true love and a partner for life.

I am thankful that Kade is coming around about his baby sister. He will actually let us talk about her a little bit and even refers to her once in awhile, which is a big step for him.

I am thankful that Zac and Lauren chose such a beautiful location to get married at because it really was a much needed getaway for Kyle and I. It was not only a beautiful wedding and resort, but it was also totally relaxing, espcially since the next few months are going to be very busy to say the least.

I am thankful for the coming weekend because we should actually be able to get some stuff done around here, as in paint Liv’s room (I can’t tell you how excited I am to decorate our baby girl’s room and to have a little pink around here for a change).
