I am thankful to be pregnant with my little Liv, but I really wish she would remove her little foot from my rib so that I can have some reprieve (even if it’s just a few minutes, I’d greatly appreciate it).

I am thankful that the tall ships are here in Cleveland this weekend because I can hardly wait to see the look on Kade’s face when he sees a pirate ship in person (I just hope he doesn’t pass out from sheer excitement and awe).

I am thankful that my little boy is an adventurous eater. Tonight he indulged in hot and sour soup, an eggroll with duck sauce, and szechuan and garlic chicken and he loved every bite. In his 2 short years, he has tried more foods than some people do in their lifetime. I am just grateful that we have the opportunity to expose him to the food and culture of many different ethnicities because it will only broaden his horizons and teach him to appreciate our differences.

I am thankful for my wonderful husband who is currently giving Kade a bath because I can’t even bend over thanks to Liv’s opportune foot placement (see above).

I am thankful that we will have another ultrasound on Saturday morning and will be given another chance to see our beautiful little girl squirming and waving to us on the screen.

I am thankful for my little family because even though our lives aren’t all that exciting, we make the most of every day and we have learned the hard way not to take it for granted.
