Thanks for all your comments on yesterday’s post. Sometimes I forget that the tone of the written word can be easily misinterpreted, which is what I think happened. I was being my usual over-exaggerated self, but that is how I write so I won’t change it, but I will tell you that I didn’t really yell at Kade all day (in fact I should probably yell at him more than I do, or at least discipline him more). So, I’m going to put yesterday behind me, but before I do, here is a glimpse at what we tried to accomplish last night.
Kyle set up a photo studio in the living room, complete with lighting and backdrop, and we attempted to capture our beautiful children on film (well, we managed to get some shots of Liv, but Kade didn’t exactly sit still long enough to get any good shots of him – please no comments about how I should have tried harder.)
You should have seen Liv squirming all over during this shot, if I didn’t know better I would think she was trying to crawl.
Kade really does love his sister very much, and she is already enamored with him as well. Seeing the two of them together and watching his tender embrace overwhelms me with indescribable love and emotion.
My little peanut is getting bigger by the minute. Don’t you just love the “Mona Lisa” smile (if we only knew what they were thinking).

Erika,
My grandchildren are beautiful. Don’t worry about Kade, he is a wonderful boy and he loves you and Kyle very much. He will get over this stage.

Hang in there Erika. From another teacher’s point of view, make sure you are explaining to Kadewhat he is doing wrong and why you don’t want him to do it. Also try to focus on his good behaviors (if there are any:)
Love the pictures.

The pictures of Kade and Liv took my breath away. What a beautiful little family you have. Don’t be too hard on yourself about Kade, you two are wonderful parents and this too shall pass. I am so proud of the way you care for my precious grandchildren. Never doubt for one second your parenting skills. They are excellent. Love You.
