Spider

I went to take the dogs out yesterday afternoon and this spider was hanging out on the garage ready to greet me. Needless to say, I jumped out of my skin when I saw it. Anyone who knows me knows my extreme fear of spiders, and this one was definitely too close for comfort.

When I came inside I told Kade about it and he wanted to go outside to check it out, but I told him he had to wait until Daddy got home (I wasn’t about to go near that thing again).

Kyle took some pics of it when he got home (hence the photo above), but Kade still wanted to go out and see it. My son, the enigma. The boy who screams bloody murder over seeing a mufflehead flying about wants to go outside to check out what quite possibly could be the largest spider in the state of Ohio. That is the beauty of toddlers - they always keep you guessing…
