Despite the lack of sleep, we had a wonderful Christmas with both of our families. This year has tested our faith, but we have many blessings to be thankful for.

I am thankful for the ability to provide my children with a memorable Christmas, one that includes presents, but more importantly traditions old and new, love, and magic.

I am thankful for family. The love that surrounds Kyle, my children, and myself is immeasurable. The greatest gift my children can receive is the love of family, and we are rich in it.

I am thankful that Kyle’s mom could have all of her children and grandchildren around her on Christmas because there were moments during the past year that she questioned whether it would be possible, and we are all thankful that it was.

I am thankful that 2007 is around the corner because I have a feeling that it is going to be a very good year.
