Hard to believe, but this is the first time since this post that we have had a significant amount of snow fall (at least enough to play in). Kyle bundled Kade up and the two of them took off to conquer the sledding hill by our house (Mama and Liv stayed home – it was just too cold for a little peanut like her). They had a snowball fight, made snow angels, and braved the hill with our flimsy, plastic sled. Thank God Kyle went down with Kade on his lap because it turned out to be a rather dangerous venture. Kyle’s elbow was swollen to the size of a golf-ball when they got home, and though I haven’t checked yet, there are sure to be some bruises in the vicinity of his bum. Kade was frozen, but excited to tell me all about it. And what sledding trip would be complete without a nice cup of hot chocolate, with whipped cream of course.
