Thank you just isn’t enough

I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of support I have received in the last 24 hours. Your generosity and support means the world to me, and it will make a difference in the lives of thousands of others. Honestly, words cannot express the way I feel right now. I am going to run tonight with each and every one of you in mind, and on race day you will be the reason that I proudly get to wear the purple Team in Training shirt and run in honor of Cindy and the countless others battling and living with blood cancers. You are all part of the Team too, you have made it possible, you are bringing us closer to a cure, and I promise…I will not let you down.

    Erika,
I am proud that you are family. What you are doing for Cindy and all the others like her is amazing. I walk on oour treadmill almost everyday and feel like I am going to drop after only 2 miles. When I whine about it, you are the first person I think of. I don’t know how you do it, but keep up all that hard work. I know you will do everyone proud who has donated. Also, thank you for your blog. You are so gifted when it comes to writing. I enjoy reading it. Well I had better go now. Congrats on being almost at your goal!!!!

Heidi – I love that quote. It sums up the way I feel perfectly.

Amber – Thank you so much. I’m so happy that this blog has allowed me to stay connected to the people who mean the most to me. You have been a huge source of inspiration for me as well. In the beginning of training, when 2 miles made me want drop, I would tell myself that I had to keep going…that you and your mom had pledged your support, and that I couldn’t let you down. I thank you for being the first people to support me on this journey. You have been with me the whole way, and I’ll never forget it.
