Your "playing in the snow" mindset/mantra or whatever you want to call it, has definitely helped. I've "played in the snow" the past 2 days...just got back from a run a few moments ago actually. I should also add that those were my first ever "snow runs." I can't say I like it, but I'm out doing it and don't feel so out of the running loop any more. You likening it to quicksand is right on. I can only imagine what I look like. Oh glory. I don't even want to think about it.

It is crazy what you think about when you run. Thanks for your random thoughts...It made me think about something. Since we've moved back I've been thinking, "We need to recycle." I should already be in the routine of doing so, considering my parents have always recycled, but I just haven't since we've moved back. Shame on us. I think it's time to kick it in gear and set up a recycling bin to remind me to do so. Thanks for putting fire under my butt!

One last thing. I picked up some Clif Blocks last week. We had never tried them before. I'll definitely be keeping them on hand to battle any "lows" I face..especially when the summer months arrive.

Talk to you soon!
