It's too bad that Sandusky doesn't have more local coffee shops because we'd be sure to support them when we are in town. Starbucks just happens to be conveniently located by the Rt.2 exit, otherwise we'd buy elsewhere.

When in Cleveland, we are loyal supporters of Phoenix coffee. They make a kick ass blend that I think blows the other folks out of the water.

Phoenix coffee has been rapidly expanding...fingers crossed it reaches Sandusky in the near future.

Try Coffee Beanery. Starbucks is disgusting. Got a white chocolate mocha when we were in Chicago and had to pitch it because it tasted so bad.

Yeah, Starbucks, about the only thing I can get there without them botching it up is a Caffè Americano, pick your size, espresso and hot water, don't add anything to it...that's about the only thing I've never had them botch up.

Anything beyond that, unless it's just regular coffee is fair game for them to not quite make right.

[...] Another Mother’s Day, another trip to Sandusky. My baby mama, Erika, has the passenger seat duties of our two Chihuahua’s, Rocco and Lola and the task of keeping the kids happy in the back seat. You would think there would be more than coffee in that cup and apparently Starbucks thought she needed something as well. [...]
