This is how I look today (except for the fact that my hair is black, and I don’t own pearl earrings, and have never in my life put mascara on my lower lashes).

I am going crazy getting things ready for our school year at the preschool. I spent the entire day on the phone…and I hate talking on the phone, which is why my eyes are bugging out of my head and my hair is standing on end and I’m screaming in horror at the thought of the phone ringing for the 1,000th time.

Thank goodness we are all still sick and no one minds staying inside all day in their pajamas. Kade is suspect though. He keeps going to the door telling me that it isn’t raining so why are we inside and still wearing our jams.

I, on the other hand, managed to put on my favorite blue dress, my strand of pearls, and candy-red lipstick….because nothing says stay-at-home, frazzled   mama like red lips.
