As random stuff happens throughout the day, I tell myself…that would make a good blog post, but for some reason (complete exhaustion, splitting headache, screaming children, annoying phone call, brain fart) the post never gets written, the blog gets neglected and I’m left wondering if anyone even reads this thing anymore.
I keep telling Kyle that it would be a lot easier to blog if I had an iPhone (and no…I am not referring to your hand-me-down, wonky-screened, Lollapalooza-damaged, sloppy seconds. I want a brand new, unscathed, unscratched one…thank you very much). Until that happens (March), I need a resolution…a one-post-a-day goal to bring my blogging back to life. This is day 1 of the 30 day challenge.
In honor of day one, I’ll leave you with this little nugget.
Kyle just sent me a text message (we are trying to figure out where to go for our birthday dinner on Saturday night) and it read:
“Crop, Luxe, Light Bistro, Lolita, Felice, Fire, Flying Fig, Momocho, Moxie?”
Did he attempt to alphabetize (it ain’t perfect, but it sure appears alphabetical) our choices? Am I not the only neurotic one living in this house? Wait…I forgot about Kade…nevermind, that makes three of us.

Just to confirm…we do read the blog! Had fun with coffee/mom sanity morning. We will have to do it again next week. My house is always open!

You’re my “get your butt in gear” motivation as I train for Akron on the 27th.
Do you write for you and the fam that lives inside your four walls (to simply capture moments?)… or for family to stay caught up? Or to inspire someone else?
I say…just say true to why you started writing in the first place .. the rest of it will come together … it ain’t easy balancing all you’ve got going on!
I still read, but, dinner tomorrow night? Make it early, you guys need to root the Buckeyes on! As for Sunday, GO BROWNS! And you guys be careful, I’m fearful for your lives. The Steelers will probably be kicking our asses, and Browns fans aren’t very nice when they’re drunk and losing.
All my Mac products come as “sloppy seconds” from my graphic designer, Apple obsessed hubby. I’m still waiting for him to get the new iPhone…

Naomi - I just started reading your blog (thanks for linking to it from twitter) and you inspire me with your awesome photography and cool craft projects and poetic expression of love for your husband and children. It has been a joy to read and it makes me want to write even more.
Ryan - Don’t worry. We are including the game in our dinner plans. Kyle would never miss an OSU game. Never. And, about the the Browns/Steelers…I’m willing to take my chances. Living in Cleveland doesn’t afford many opportunites to show my Pittsburgh pride. I’m not passing this one up, drunk idiots or not…
Kate - Gotta love the graphic designer husbands, and the RSS feeds… Happy Birthday to you too (albeit it’s a bit belated). We actually planned Liv’s pregnancy so she would be a Virgo, my diabetes and her stubborn personality put her into Leo territory, but that would have made 3 of us under one roof…crazy.
