Thirty?? I turned thirty this year and loved it!!! Girl, please. It's an age when u can tell people to kiss your ass- and say it with authority. It's about being a GAW- grown "a" woman. Thirty plus rocks!! You don't have to explain yourself to anyone. When we as type I diabetics fight for everyday of our lives, to not embrace thirty or any number is an insult to the pain and sacrifice you've made. Wear thirty and anyone who doesn't respect you, tell them swifly to loss your ass!!!Happy birthday!!! And stop mopin!!!!

RE: turning 30 -- age is just a number & I still feel 26! (To the point where, if someone asks my age, I honestly have to do the math. lol) It's all good... :)

I know how you feel about turning 30. I was extremely emotional about it and even cried a little on my birthday, but the feelings passed shortly after. I will be turning 35 this year and am slightly emotional about that as well. Just think of yourself as a fine wine, you get better with age.
